The new Gorillaz album was released on NPR public radio for free today. This may or may not be said album, but it is a link with the name. And I do recommend getting it.
This album is filled with other artists adding to Albarn's Gorillaz project, most notably Snoop Dogg on the track "Welcome to the World of the Plastic Beach", and Lou Reed on "Some Kind of Nature".
I'm listening to it as I type this so I can't really review it, but here it is. I'm not sure if there'll be any songs as awesome as Feel Good Inc or Clint Eastwood, but so far what I've heard is good. Moving in a bit of a different direction, very musically interesting with orchestral arrangements mixed with a 90's hiphop sound (which actually doesn't sound like a different direction, but it is kinda different).
